The Painted Sky - My initiative to use Art in Training & Development

Our Workshops aim:

• To accelerate and strengthen team performance

• To learn imaginative and novel ways to find solutions to challenges or issues, to generate multiple viable solutions to any given obstacle.

• To foster creativity and innovation on campus, to help find innovative processes and product solutions to improve market competitiveness and boost bottom-lines.

• To help new leaders understand the people in their organization

• To help relieve stress and develop camaraderie

• To reinforce company's commitment to inventive thinking

• To facilitate change management; reduce the negative effects of organizational change

• To enhance problem-solving skills and techniques among individuals and teams

• To promote out-of-the-box, non-silo bound thinking

• To improve effective communication among colleagues, and help leaders and managers inspire their teams.

SONI BHATTACHARYA, FOUNDER & CEO

Soni is a Post-Graduate in Marketing from Kolkata, with over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, art promotion and training & development. In the past, she has worked with large and diverse organizations, before embarking on her parallel entrepreneurial ventures in Fine Arts and Learning & Development, with an aim to develop innovative solutions in both spaces, through a synergistic and symbiotic approach. The Painted Sky is her brain-child, as she leads the training, finance and operations initiatives for the company, expertly offering novel people development solutions to organizations across industries and geographies.

Soni loves following art and music, and is also training to learn Hindustani Classical Music. She is passionate, full of ideas and energy, and brings the same to her work, be it designing specialized programmes or running high-energy workshops. She dabbles in other art related activities as well, taking an active interest in art promotion and patronage, as well as in organizing art appreciation workshops and exhibitions.

ANIRBAN BHATTACHARYA, CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

Anirban is a Sales and Marketing professional with a proven track-record of over 16+ years of Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Consulting, Strategy and Relationship Management excellence. In his earlier life, Anirban handled various sales and marketing roles with diverse organizations, cutting across industries and geographies, giving him valuable exposure to various facets of Leadership, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Business & Customer Development, and Relationship Management. As a co-founding partner in The Painted Sky, Anirban handles business development and marketing for the company, as well as delivers training programmes to clients.

Anirban loves many things, too many, infact! His interests range from jazz to sports and cooking, painting, politics, conservation and debating as well. Anirban enjoys creative work and is always looking at innovative ways to design mailers, brochures and programmes.

Some of Our Training Programmes

Assertive communications at work : How to make your point, say ‘no’, negotiate for deadlines or persuasivelyput across your idea, all this is covered in the two day programme. Helps participants understand themselves and their colleagues better and become more impactful in their communication.

Business language and grammar: Essentially an English language programme that aims at enhancing language skills and helps in improving both verbal as well as written communications.

Business writing and email etiquette: Covers the 7 Cs of Effective Writing making communications at work more crisp and clear. Also covers netiquette and ability to communicate sensitively.

Presentation skills: A two day programme that helps participants improve their presentation skills through activities that improve posture and tone, remove stage fright. The programme also helps in structuring the presentation, and in creating impactful and creative powerpoints. This programme helps participants look at their individual styles and habits and improve them to make powerful presentations.

Negotiation Skills: Develop a Win-Win approach! Builds empathy and understanding, dissociates people from the problem, focuses on interests and not positions, and helps in maintaining long-term, sustainable relationships through trust and respect.

Interviewing skills: Helps define competencies required for the role, ask relevant powerful questions to assess the candidate accurately, document the interview in a smart manner, provide data and examples to arrive at the right decision. Also helps participants in structuring the interview, maintaining a professional and comfortable environment and in keeping the interview legal.

Sales & Sales Management Skills: Winning customers in a competitive environment, from prospecting to loyalty, to ensure market leadership and sustained revenues.
